"I would like to thank Date.com for bringing my soulmate into my life. We met online in January 2002, and have been in love with each other ever since. We talked via email for a couple of days, and then moved to phone conversations. We talked non stop, and the conversations were amazing. After we met in person, it was love at first sight, and we started dating immediately. I knew this was the girl I was supposed to be with for the rest of my life. We got engaged in June 2002, had our first child in August 2003, and plan to get married in March 2005."

"I just wanted to thank Date.com. Because of your service, I have found the perfect person for me. She loves me unconditionally and makes me happier than I have ever been in my life. Thanks to you, cutie3102 and myself were married on August 30th, 2003. Our first date was July 3rd, 2002. We owe it all to you, otherwise we never would have met. If you ever need good things said about your site, I personally can't brag enough. I hope everyone else is able to find that perfect someone, just like I did."

"I first found my lil'T back in January of 2004. 1-24-04 was the first day we talked and we've talked almost everyday since then! I visited her for the first time on our 3 month "anniversary" of the day we first talked. It was the best weekend I've ever had. I didn't want to go home, and she didn't want me to leave. She's coming to visit me next month, and I plan on doing whatever I can to make it work. I'm pretty sure I've found the girl that I've been looking for my whole life! I just wanted to thank Date.com for helping me find her!"

"We met on Date.com in May 2002. He was in Poland and I was in Venezuela. I had to have an operation because I was overweight, but of course he didn't know anything. To make a long story short, six months later he traveled to New York, and that meant he was closer, so I decided to hurry up. I had the operation and lost almost 100 lbs. I came to the U.S. in August 2003. We moved to Miami, and on January 24th (it was a year to the date when we had met in NY), he asked me to marry him! The wedding will be in January 2005."

"Thank you Date.com. I have searched my whole life for the perfect mate for me. Until now limitation of geography have kept me a home town girl. Date.com freed me. I put an ad in date.com and immediately had responses from gentlemen for other places, even foriegn countries. But, that special man did come along. He is a kind, gentle man, a professional that made my heart beat a little faster and I got that knot in my stomach that meant that this was special. Seven months later we are engaged and are very happy. I am 55 and he is 73. He has cancer which I knew going into the relationship. There is happiness for everyone regardless of lifes situations. We love each other very much and it would not have been possible if not for Date.com. July 4, 2003 was a red letter day for us, as it was our wedding day. Thanks again, Date.com."

"We are so happy with the results at date.com , we met us by this page on February 2003, we kept writting us mails for almost 10 months, then since October we started to talk by phone too, and talk on the chat. So we realized that we were in love each other, then in January we decided to meet up in person. We met us in Bolivia, that was wonderfull, we shared 22 days together knowing us better, and realizing that our love was really strong and big, we have many things in common, we discovered many wonderfull things together, simple things that we didn't see before, but that make us so happy, so after this 22 days of love, we decided to get married, and stay together and happy for the rest of our lives. We thank you very much dear Date.com. Thanks to you our dreams became true, and we are so happy."

Ready
to pop the question but
need some help to make
it a story she'll gush
over for years to come?
We're here to help...
|
|
1. Plan
a night in to watch your favorite
holiday film. Make a bowl of
popcorn and place the ring at
the bottom. When the popcorn’s
almost done, grab the ring and
propose. Make sure you don't
eat the ring.
2. Find
a big
box
and
several
smaller
ones
that
can
all
fit
inside
each
other.
Wrap
up the
ring
box
and
place
it in
the
larger
box
and
wrap
that
as well.
Continue
until
all
the
boxes
are
wrapped.
When
she’s
opening
the
gift
and
glaring
at you
for
all
the
work
she
has
to do,
smile
and
tell
her
it’s
going
to be
worth
it.
3. Take her out for a nice dinner
at a romantic restaurant. Leave room for dessert
and have the waiter bring the ring box on her
dessert plate. |

4. Prepare
a special, romantic holiday
dinner for the two of you,
complete with champagne and
several delicious courses.
And don't forget the candles.
Place the ring in the bottom
of the champagne glass and
pour the bubbly over it.
Watch her eyes light up when
you hand her the glass.
5. Put up the Christmas tree
when she isn't home, only without any ornaments.
Tie a string around the box and hang it on the
tree. When she sees the box, prompt her to open
it.
6. Hide the ring somewhere
she'll be sure to find it during your morning
holiday routine, such as in the sugar bowl or
in her coffee cup. Make sure you’re there when she’s
making breakfast and ask her to marry you.
7. Make a plan to put up the
Christmas tree together. Attach the ring to
an ornament and put it back in its box. When
the tree is fully dressed, tell her there’s
one more ornament and hand the box to her.
8. Throw a New Year’s Eve
party and let those attending know that you’re
planning to propose. Pop the question in front
of everyone when the clock strikes midnight.
